Of interest to any of those in Auckland this weekend.

(And perhaps may temp some of you to revisit Auckland over an Auckland
Anniversary weekend in future)

Here's a list of events happening this weekend including a Regatta,
Laneways (music) festival, Buskers festival, seafood festival, mostly
around the waterfront area (Wynyard quarter, Viaduct, Princes Wharf, lower
parts of Queen St etc)

A FIREWORKS
There's also FIREWORKS on Sunday night, 25 Jan 2015 from 9.30pm to 9.45pm
with displays from the *Sky Tower

Concert and Fireworks

*Sunday 25 January, 5.30pm-9.30pm (fireworks from 9.30pm)*

A line-up of local music, playing on the deck of the HMNZS Otago, closing
with a fireworks finale from Sky Tower and barges in the harbour.

Concert viewing space is likely to fill up fast, but enjoy the atmosphere
and see the concert on the big screens set up on the outside of Shed 10 and
over on Captain Cook Wharf.

C. Ports of Auckland also has other events like boat and bus tours,
tugboat  displays
RHIB and helicopter displays by the Royal New Zealand Navy
Knot tying and rowing contests and more by the SCOUTS New Zealand
The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust will have their helicopter simulator
for visitors to test their flying skills
