[LCA2015-Chat] Weather - was Uni Halls facilities

Its very difficult to forcast the weather correctly for Auckland.  Generally the 1-day forecast is accurate - but anything beyond 5 days is little more then a guess. (in Dec 2013 Forcast accuracy fell to less then 60% 7 days out)  Statistically, while it rains less in summer then Winter here over the course of a week I'd typically expect some rain - Typically (but not always) it will be of short duration and you can wait it out [ 10-30 minutes ] if you have thebad luck to need to go somewhere when its raining.

Also, the rain often falls sideways here (close to anyway), making an umbrella less useful then in most other places.   If in doubt, a light rain jacket is ideal.
